12-07-2009 Noon Books Sandwiched In Event at the Atlantic Highlands Public LibraryJoanne Larzik, author of Let the Kids Cook!, owner/teacher Now We’re Cookin’! Kids, specializing in cooking lessons for young children ages 4, 5 and older will be presenting at the Monday, Dec 7th meeting of the Atlantic Highlands Friends of the Library group Books Sandwiched In. Joanne Larzik is a self taught cook who has been teaching private cooking lessons for over 10 years under her trademark Now We’re Cookin’! Kids. In addition to offering children’s cooking lessons Joanne volunteers at Lunch Break and gives her time freely to teach cooking to groups such as the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts enabling them to earn their cooking badges. Books Sandwiched In meets the first Monday of the month at Noon at the Atlantic Highlands Public Library – currently residing in the Firemen’s Field House, 48 Avenue C. Bring your bagged lunch.
