Atlantic Highlands is a small Victorian town on the New Jersey shore overlooking lower New York Bay, with Manhattan in the distance. Its hills include the highest point on the eastern seaboard south of Maine.

Many of Atlantic Highlands' Victorian homes have been preserved and restored, adding to the charm of small-town living and providing interesting walking tours in the historic district.

Do you know ? Be Aware !!
Do you have Verizon FIOS telephone service? If so, do you know that if you lose power at your home, the battery back-up that is located at the main control panel will only last a few hours. After the battery is exhausted and if your power has not been restored, you will have no phone service until the power is back on. It is also possible that local cell phone service will not be available and your cell phone will only connect if it can find a roaming connection.

2011 Fall Leaf & Brush Pick-Ups
There will be a townwide BRUSH ONLY pick-up during the week of October 24-28. ALL Brush must be out in the morning on Monday October 24th. Collections will be done in no specific order and once your street is done, it is done, so please do not wait until the last minute to put out your brush. For information on leaves, go to the FAQ [in the left column] and type in your street adress to find out your leaf collection dates. A printed schedule will be in the mail soon.

New FAQ feature
Don't know when your next bulk pick-up is, would you like to know what your block and lot numbers are, or maybe where your polling place is located. Click on the FAQs in the side bar on the left, type in your address and all of the information is now available to you. Try it out!
